Mental Thinking a Prison

Mental thinking runs on fuel from your heartbreak. It wants to keep you in a separated state. We also call this Ego. It has only 2 functions: 1 Colouring the present with the past 2 Creating fears of future to lose present. Once you understand this well, you will also understand where the saboteurs below come from. They keep you away from unity consciousness with that soul connection. The present, the moment or spontaneous childlike response from your heart centre is different every time. You are unpredictable in the flow of spiritual inspiration and possibly also with guidance from your guides. .

Most persons on the planet are ego-centric and cherish their own happiness to make themselves feel better temporarily. Because of the soul-searching in their hearts, their lives are ruled by mental thinking and derived emotions. The result: escape from pain and continuous search for variety, power, appreciation, recognition, attention and love. Such a life is empty and hardly satisfying. Mental thinking is more active the more soul pain is present and when it dissolves. Emotions are also more prominent when you are in a life crisis. Think of anger, attachment, jealousy, proud and uncertainty.

Only as soon as you are appalled tired and bored are from your sad life only then do you find yourself in a hopeless situation. That's when you finally start asking for help. You realise that mental thinking is not going to provide the answer to your challenges in your life. You realise that you have been going around in circles emotionally for years. Is now the time?

Thinking Bio energetic error in our DNA

When you are 2.5 to 3 years old, a geometric figure in your head suddenly starts spinning rapidly. This one turns individual moments into a movie with past, present and future. It is like a script of an old Walt Disney draw film with loose hand drawings. As soon as the projector is turned on, Donald Duck suddenly appears to move on the projection screen. This gives you the illusion that a living Donald exists and that past and future are real in terms of time. You know - you have the memory of how the film goes. It's all a projection on a screen and not the real Donald. So just like Donald Duck, you too do not exist qua 1 self!

You yourself are the problem in thinking

The best approach for personal growth is to slowly turn the projector back to the right speed. This brings you deeper and deeper into unity consciousness and your memory of events that don't matter at all disappears. The outside world is not the problem but the mental self. It creates the illusion that you exist. You are also the soul. There is not one Self or one version of yourself. You react differently every time depending on who you are, where you are and when you are somewhere. "You" even changes continuously inside: many body cells have already died and been born again since you are reading this page.

So the image about there being only 1 Self is an illusion. The mental saboteurs who pursue perfection, aspiration and predictability want you to remain a one-size-fits-all. This will not bring you into the NOW. As a baby, 3 seconds later you had already forgotten the crying and were 1 big smile again. "Jantje laugh Jantje cry" is what we popularly call this. You had no memory of the past, nor did you know the future at all.

The 2 very limited functions of mental thinking

Mental thinking continuously colours the present with past experiences and creates fears of losing all achievements in the present in the future. Mental thinking does nothing but perform these 2 functions. The energy for this, the mental thinking draws from your soul's grief. And for this reason, the mental thinking sabotages you from going to your soul-sickness. Mental thinking wants to survive. This is an inner mental struggle, which eventually transforms into a surrender to the soul's heart centre. You can also call this the dissolution of the mental ego.

The pitfalls of mental thinking

Pitfall 1: Your self strives to maintain status quo

The self seeks limitation to keep you where you are and control everything in your life more or less in the outside world. We also call this the Status Quo Or fix the current situation. Sticking to how everything is now, for example, in terms of work and relationship.

Pitfall 2: Your self strives for perfection and self-judgement

The self considers image and perfection very important. For this reason, it wants to do everything at once and always do everything perfect for everyone at once. Call this always keeping multiple dishes in the air on sticks and not wanting to disappoint anyone. You condemn your self that not everything always works out. The ideal picture is held high.

Pitfall 3: Your self is always creating a new aspiration

How you are now does not approve of you. The self always still wants to achieve something. To this end, you still need to take all kinds of courses, get a better job, etc. As soon as you get there, your self wants something new again. This is the unending pain of aspiration. Goal achieved then always a new one.

Saboteur 4: Your self wants to uphold ideal image and be predictable

The self creates the image that you should live according to norms, values, religious beliefs, family beliefs or a corporate culture. This makes you a uniformity that shows predictable behaviour. This can go strongly against your own feelings. Then you find yourself in a spin. You live from an image with norms, values and beliefs

Pitfall #6: Your self identifies with others' pain and problems

When faced with setbacks, the self always chooses to identify with the problem. As a result, the self enters an endless circle. For years, one can walk around with a problem even though it is often an inherited or carried-over problem from someone else. So you don't have to feel your own pain

Saboteur No 6: Your self chooses Yes But mode

The self has a natural tendency to defend and survive. It then chooses to stay in the inner conflict and mental prison. The self then wants to keep functioning on the energy of soul grief. It keeps you away from your soulmate and growth. It does not easily accept anything from others. Despite all the problems, you still see it better because you don't want to feel the pain.

Pitfall No 7: Your self wants to keep looking and not(s) solve

You may wear out therapists for years but you wind them all around your finger. You may pay for therapy and spiritual seminars as if you were buying a kilo of sugar in the supermarket. As soon as you don't see results fast enough or things get too hot under your feet, you start postponing appointments or stop therapy. You don't want help or therapy at all

Conclusion

Surrendering to the soul pain in your heart is necessary to escape the mental prison and live from your heart centre. Put aside the fear of the old pain. Then you will no longer keep falling into these mental traps!
