Sleep problems the biggest is INSOMNIA: Insomnia. What is insomnia? Insomnia (insomnia) is a sleep disorder, in which you have poor sleep and thus do not have normal sleep, accompanied by daytime functional complaints. You talk about normal sleep when you sleep for five to 10 hours. Anything less than five hours is INSOMNIA.
I regularly see clients in my practice with insomnia combined with 1 of these 9 sleep problems. In 2018 year, I had 4 clients on 1 morning. This confessed to telling the same thing four times which costs precious time each time. Moreover, validation questions need to be asked the following two consultations in case things did not go well every night. Following the set of instructions listens very closely. Mental saboteurs let clients unknowingly deviate from these valuable instructions. For this reason, as a service, I have offered this information in a free online course. Learning to Sleep Again.
What other sleep problems are there?
Besides insomnia, you or your children may also suffer from:
- snoring
- sleepwalking
- talking in your sleep
- teeth grinding
- wet the bed
- frequent toilet visits
- wrap around you
- swallowing while sleeping
- stop breathing
Devastated clients
Some patients with extreme form had already visited sleep clinics in hospitals. The neurologists - also with the best intentions of wanting to help patients - did not manage to help all patients. You cannot expect that from any 1 caregiver. Not even from me. We do our best. Usually, a traumatic experience or long conditioning from early childhood underlies a very extreme sleep problem.

It is then important to start looking at this properly together. The fears of the past give rise to so many panic thoughts that falling asleep easily is not (yet) possible. Staying awake also has to do with wanting to be alert or awake to avoid re-experiencing the traumatic experience. Time has stood still, so to speak. In reality, time (spiritually speaking) doesn't exist either.
Sleep problems in crisis
Mental thinking is also overactive when a client is going through a crisis in his or her life. Lying awake at night and brooding is then the needle of an LP stuck in the same groove. A psychosis or sitting against it, a burnout and having a challenge with sufficient sleep, then belong together. Also as a result of Hypochondria and sexual abuse you may suffer from insomnia. With the latter, you live under the illusion that the perpetrator can still bother you and therefore your nervous system remains on edge.
Sleep problems the master the slave of mental thinking
A mental saboteur can get in the way of the process of learning to sleep again. All (funny) comments surrounding your sleep behaviour are better not to express and share with others. After all, you are also talking to your subconscious.
- I can't sleep well
- I wake up at 3am every night
- it seems I am the night watchman
- I can't sleep through the night
- I wake up every 3-4 hours
- has to get out often to pee
- I'll turn on the TV then at least I'll fall asleep
- I have always been a bad sleeper
- Can't go to sleep without a sleeping pill
- I take 2 beers otherwise I won't fall asleep
- I've been everywhere for help and nothing helped
- the many thoughts keep me from falling asleep
- I am dead tired of my sleep problem
- I overturned my day and night rhythm
You have become the slave of your mental thinking. You can become the master of your sleep again provided you follow the instructions of the Learn to Sleep Again course properly. AND ALSO carefully observe your mental thinking and put a stop to sabotage thoughts. You can register yourself via the blue button at the bottom of this message.
Sleeping pills do not solve sleep problem
With sleeping pills and/or alcohol, you give up and become a slave to your mental thinking. This is a situation you don't really want. Just because 1,000,000 Dutch people take sleeping pills does not mean it is healthy. Certainly not in the long run.
Your mental thinking keeps you awake. Too many thoughts. Both your head and heart have an energy sphere. In your heart energy sphere, you can fall asleep through surrender. As long as your attention stays with your head energy sphere, you cannot fall asleep easily. So sleep problems in terms of falling asleep, are a chicken and egg problem with often years of conditioning. Teaching you in a proper way to focus your attention on the heart energy sphere offers the solution!
The Yoga of Sleep
From Tibetan Buddhism, there are advanced meditations in the Highest Yoga Tantra. This comprises a total of 11 Yogas. The Yoga of Sleep is 1 of these 11 and there are very many details in these ancient instructions. I have adapted these sublime instructions to our times and greatly simplified them by omitting unnecessary technical meditation instructions and relying entirely on the power of the ancient lineage of gurus. And the mantra for Yoga Nidra or too the Yoga of Sleep. OM MANI PADME HUM.
Basically, meditation and mantra has a purifying power, so that you encounter fewer obstacles in your life (day & night). You learn to direct the atmosphere of your sleep. You can later apply the same technique for the day.
Sleep tip choose heart centre to fall asleep fast
What most people don't know is that you can fall asleep at different locations or energy centres and that sleep problems are 1 to 1 related to that.
- you fall asleep in your third eye energy sphere (violet)
- you can also fall asleep in your throat energy sphere (blue)
- preferably fall asleep In your heart energy sphere (green)
- in addition, you can fall asleep in your sacral energy sphere (orange)
During this course, we will teach you to fall asleep in your heart energy sphere.
In your heart, you sleep an average of 7-9 hours and have no memory of your sleep. As a result, the body rests very well. You get the ability to fall deeply asleep.
Sleep problems light sleep as you fall asleep in your third eye
In your head, you sleep only 2-3 hours and wake up with thoughts. Your body does not rest sufficiently because the sleep quality is not deep. It is a very light sleep. And also too short a sleep.
If you fall asleep in your throat centre
In your throat centre, you sleep for only 5-6 hours and wake up from very lucid dreams. The sleep is usually semi-deep and often occurs - without you doing anything consciously - just before waking up from a deep heart sleep. If you are a very advanced meditation practitioner, you only train by falling asleep in the throat centre. With this, you become the master of your sleep and direct which dream unfolds.
If you fall asleep in your sacral chakra
In your sacral centre, you enter a meditative state where you experience lucid flying dreams and wake up through ecstasy. This is also for advanced Yoga of Sleep.
